Monday Madness: A New Apple MacBook?

Did your busy weekend keep you away from the computer?  Let me recap some of the top stories you may have missed:

I don’t know what’s going on in Vietnam these days, but looks like they have leaked another Apple product.  A new Apple MacBook has made it’s way to the streets.  It is labeled as the MacBook 7,1 and has a faster 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor (up from 2.26GHz) and NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM.  See the video below for an unboxing.

If you’ve been trying to figure out how to get XBMC working on your PS3?  I know it’s on the top of everyone’s list of things to accomplish!  There is now a walk-through.  Check out the walk-through to see how to get yours up and running.

How many times have you been told to put down your cell phone because it is going to cause you to get cancer?  I get told this all the time since my iPhone never leaves my sight.  Would you like to know if this was true or just an old wives tale?  Well a research study is supposed to be released this week after 13,000 people were researched to see if there was a link between cell phone usage and brain cancer.  So what’s the end result?  That’s simple, it’s inconclusive!  That’s right, they have no idea.

Other things to look forward to?  Looks like there are plans to make a Asus netbook with slide-in cell phone.  The phone will be able to access the 3G network to get your netbook up and browsing anywhere you’d normally have signal.  Also, keep your eyes open for a new HTC phone, possibly named the Mondrian.   A ROM was leaked, which reveals the possibilities of a new higher-tech phone.
