How to Block Unwanted Calls on Verizon Wireless

I hate getting phone calls from people I don’t know. Ah hell, who am I kidding? I hate getting phone calls from half the people I do know. You feel the same way, don’t you? Yeah, I know you do. Well if you use Verizon Wireless, luckily there’s an easy way to fix that problem.

First, go online and log in to your Verizon account. If you have a cell phone, you have an account. It’s not hard to figure out. Just use your user name and password. Got it?

Once logged in, click on My Services. This will take you to all the cervices available for your cellular usage. After that’s done, you’ll want to click on Verizon Safeguards, then Usage Controls, followed by Spam Controls. Yeah, it may seem like a lot of clicking, but you want those unwanted calls blocked, right?

When you’ve gotten to where you need to be, you can enter in up to five phone numbers that you want blocked. They can be from your Uncle Lou, a damn telemarketer, or even your mother. I don’t need to know your family history, just put in the phone numbers, okay?

Now you’re set. You’ve got your numbers all imputed. Just click Apply and bam! You won’t get another call from that phone number for three months. Yeah, I know, three months may not seem like much, but it’s something. After that expires you’ll have to go in and enter those numbers again, but hopefully by that time whatever caused you to block them in the first place has been resolved. If not, try Doctor Phil, or a debt consolidation company.
